I’m an indie musician from New Zealand. A multi- instrumentalist, singer, producer, collaborator and songwriter.

  • My best party trick is popping my shoulder blade out,

  • I also have hyper extensive knees.

  • The third song I wrote became a number one hit, so I decided that I should probably keep writing music.

  • That song was named after a girl in my drama class called “Sophie”. It topped the charts in 2002 and since then Sophie has become most popular girls name in New Zealand, though maybe it’s just coincidence.

  • I loved my first band Goodshirt. We would always record and make things from home. Goodshirt has since split, but I still record and make things from home.

  • I also have recorded with these guys; Fazerdaze, Steve Abel, The Grand Rapids, Andrew Keoghan, Bic Runga, Goldenhorse, Dave Yetton and Sarah Brown.

  • I work half the week as an Architectural Designer           is my design website

  • I’ve won awards and stuff. I’ve also toured with some famous people, but I think the best thing about being a musician is when you’re making things.

  • I will keep making music, it is my addiction, it is my chocolate.
